Dear Mayor Roy, As a former resident of Weyburn, I was disgusted and appalled at City Council's rejection of the site for a group home for people with disabilities.

A proposed project to build a personal care group home in a residential area came up for a vote at Weyburn’s city council on Monday night, and it really shouldn’t have been that big a deal.

A request by the Weyburn Group Homes Society for the Saskatchewan Housing Authority to build a personal care home in the Creeks residential area was denied by city council by a 4-1 vote on Monday evening.
