Three young writers in the Southeast Cornerstone School Division gathered after they presented and read their winning essays to the board of trustees at Cornerstone’s monthly meeting on Wednesday.

Representatives of Canada Post presented Fire Chief Simon Almond with an enlargement of a special stamp issued to honour firefighters across Canada. The representatives included Scott Wade, Jamie Loreth and Keri Thirsk.
