SaskVolleyball have selected a couple of provincial teams for the National Team Cup Challenge, which will be held in Richmond, B.C., from July 19-23. Kianna Cuthbert and Jacey Rowland will compete with a SaskVolleyball provincial team.

The Sun Country Health Region board approved a balanced budget plan for 2017-18 that will break even, which has been submitted to the Ministry of Health for their approval. The operating budget was set at $158 million, with expenses of $157.

Graduation for the Weyburn Comprehensive School takes place this Saturday, June 10, with the ceremonies at 10 a.m., the punch reception at 2 p.m. and the Grand March at 8, all at the Cugnet Centre. The ticket-only supper is at 5:30 p.m.
