Homicide charges laid in Cameron Street death investigation

Regina police charged a man with second-degree murder and a woman with accessory.

REGINA – A death investigation that started on July 25 has resulted in homicide charges against two individuals.

On July 25, police and EMS responded to a home in the 1500 block of Cameron Street following reports of an injured woman. When officers arrived, they found 42-year-old Stephanie Coady, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Lyle Turcotte, 39, has been charged with second-degree murder and Brandi Schile, 39, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

Both accused are scheduled to make their first court appearance Monday morning in Regina Provincial Court.
