Whether its hardware and paint supplies for the homeowner or tools for workshops, culinary and kitchen supplies for the inner chef, or auto parts for the back yard mechanic; Estevan’s Canadian Tire hits the mark as a full service retailer for all seasons, all ages and all interests. In fact, while chatting with the owner, it was no surprise to hear that many of the store’s clientele are regulars who come back again and again for its excellence in customer service and products.
Recently voted not only Best Garden Centre in Estevan but also Best Lighting is essentially due to staff commitment and customer care explains owner Gary Young.
Estevan’s diverse agricultural and energy service community makes this city a fabulous place to live and work. “We are truly a community store,” says Young. Not only are we retailers but also committed to supporting charitable ventures benefitting this community. Donations towards silent auctions and fundraisers support not only kids’ sports programs but school events, hockey teams, curling events, senior homes, our local hospital, community initiatives, the Wildlife Federation to name a few. “We live in this community, we work in this community, we hire from this community and we support it,” says Young.
When asked what Young likes most about the store, it’s “The spirit of the store. The pride our employees have to their work, and commitment to our customers. They really care. We are Canada’s store in town and on line.”
