Estevan’s Pharmasave is the recipient of several Readers’ Choice Awards offered by the Estevan Mercury. This year, it ranked in the “Best Pharmacy”, “Best Gift Shop”, “Best Cosmetics”, and “Best Drug Store” categories. “Our staff was thrilled to hear we were voted into the top spots of so many diverse categories,” said Brad Cooper, the store manager at the Pharmasave on 5th Street. “It’s rewarding to be recognized by our community for the great work we do each and every day,” he added.

Cooper added that the pharmacists can also administer medication by injection, saving many people in the community time by avoiding lengthy lines at clinics and hospitals. While its primary business is pharmacy services, that has not stopped Estevan’s Pharmasave from investing in its extensive cosmetics and giftware sections, marking it one of the best front store offerings in the province.
“Our motto is ‘care before commerce’” Cooper explained, adding that his staff goes above and beyond customer expectations, even if that means sacrificing some profits. That includes having later hours to help families needing prescriptions in the evenings and providing complimentary medication review to a patient with questions. “Doing the right thing for our customers has helped our business grow year over year” Cooper said.
