Livestock projects get boosts

The Yorkton Harvest fell to the visiting Notre Dame Hounds at the Farrell Agencies Arena Thursday night in their first home game of 2012. The Hounds narrowly won by a score of 3-2, a power play goal being the winning difference in the game.

The Saskatchewan Baseball Hall of Fame is now accepting nominations for the 28th Annual Induction, August 18, 2012. There are four categories to consider: Individual - Player/ Builder. A builder is a coach, manager, umpire or any combination thereof.

The Yorkton Regional High School (YRHS) and Yorkton Curling Club (YCC) hosted the annual YRHS Junior Invitational Curling Bonspiel featuring students in Grades 7,8 and 9.

You don't realize how much you do something until, for whatever reason, you are unable to do it without some difficulty. For example, I spend a lot of my day seated, whether it's driving to various events or typing out things like this column.
