When the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation held its annual conference in February one issue which was plainly put forward was that feral wild boar are a growing problem in the province, and across Canada.

The Yorkton Regional 4-H Beef Show and Sale has long been held the opening day of the Yorkton Summer Fair. That was again the case last week, as 4-H members from clubs across the local region took to the Agri-pavilion show ring.

Agriculture may not be as large a part of the Yorkton Summer Fair as it once was, but the Agri-pavilion was a busy place Friday and Saturday as the annual Dairy Goat Show took place.
