Nature Conservancy of Canada celebrates World Wetlands Day

The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) saluted February 2 as World Wetlands Day. “If you brushed your teeth this morning, chances are you used water to rinse,” said a release from Nature Conservancy of Canada.

Olson rink wins annual Stenen Open Bonspiel

The Tim Olson rink of Preeceville, with Jess Olson (third), Ralph Ager (second) and Denise Olson (lead), won the annual Stenen Open Bonspiel which ran from January 31 to February 7. There were 16 rinks registered for the bonspiel.
