Fourteen teen campers and their leaders from St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church Camp of Madge Lake offered their services at Rama to help with cleanup at the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, in preparation for the Rama Pilgrimage.

Over 700 participants gathered in Rama on Aug. 14 and 15 in celebration of the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Police were dispatched to a report that a red Ford F250 truck was stolen out of a driveway in Canora. The truck was seen leaving Canora towards Kamsack at a high rate of speed. Police continue to investigate.

Fall cereals are being harvested, with 43 per cent of winter wheat in the bin and an additional seven per cent used for greenfeed or silage.
