College Drive westbound lanes to open

Initial repairs to the College Drive pedestrian walkway are now complete

A truck hit a portion of the pedestrian walkway near the USask campus.

SASKATOON — The City of Saskatoon is announcing that westbound driving lanes on College Drive are scheduled to re-open Tuesday, Dec. 21, morning.

Initial repairs to the College Drive pedestrian walkway are now complete. Starting before the Tuesday rush hour, the westbound lanes of College Drive will re-open to traffic. The walkway will also re-open to pedestrians.

The overpass was hit by a truck with a crane on Dec. 7, which created damage and knocked it out of alignment.
