Crossroads Credit Union, which donated $10,000, was one of major donors receiving official recognition for the new CT scanner at Yorkton Regional Health Centre on May 6. In attendance were Greg Ottenbreit, the Minister of Rural and Remote Health Services, as well as local MLAs and representatives of The Health Foundation. From left, were: Linda Osachoff, CEO of Crossroads Credit Union; Suann Laurent, Sunrise Health Region president and CEO; Don Rae, Sunrise board acting chair, and Roberta Wiwcharuk, vice-president of Integrated Health Services. The CT scanner cost was $1.2 million. Half the cost was covered by the provincial government and the remaining $600,000 was
raised locally.
