More than 50 people attended a barbecue held May 22 at the Keen Age Centre where two well-known entertainers, Glen Leson of Canora and Sandy Solonenko of Yorkton entertained.
Guests were welcomed by Edith Kotzer, the president and the social convenor was Jean Zarazun.
“Glen and Sandy entertained the crowed with duets and instruments,” Zarazun said. “Later, Jillian rice, who is Glen’s daughter, joined them and sang several songs.
“Glen has been away from music for over 25 years,” she said. “Now in his retirement, he made a comeback and is very good at guitar pickin’.
“When the month of May comes around, so does the barbecue and Peter Wiebe and Charlie Rudachuk did an excellent job as the cooks,” she said. The lunch committee prepared a variety of food and desserts. Lorraine Katelnikoff said grace.
