Kicking off the Easter long weekend was more than 40 local kids of all ages, who converged on the Riverbend Co-op Marketplace in Outlook on Thursday afternoon, April 13 for the store’s annual Easter Candy Scramble. A colorful bed of “hay” contained a host of hidden treats and by the time the countdown made it to zero and staff gave the go-ahead, the kids eagerly jumped right in and began the hunt for all that sugary goodness, with parents giving encouragement and helping them stow away their edible treasures. Though kids and parents left smiling and went home with bags full of goodies, hopefully not too many suppers went spoiled in Outlook homes that night!
