The Yorkton Arts Council, St. Andrew's Church and the Yorkton Music Festival Association in conjunction with the Association of Canadian Choral Communities and the Sask. Choral Federation are pleased to present The National Youth Choir 2010 in concert on May 18 at 8 p.m. at St. Andrew's United Church, 29 Smith St. E, Yorkton. The choir is made up of singers aged 18 to 25 from across Canada, with local talent, Terri-Lynn Mitchell as one of the singers representing Saskatchewan. The choir will perform a varied program sure to delight a variety of musical tastes, and will be directed by Dr. Victoria Meredith of the University of Western Ontario. The Yorkton concert is part of a tour of Sask. and Alberta that will end with a performance at the National Choral Federation Conference, "Podium", in Saskatoon.
