A 'village' of huts popped up at Theodore Dam Saturday.

YORKTON - The weather Saturday was near ideal – except for a February breeze -- for ice fishing and that meant a great day for the The Health Foundation Yorkton.

That was because Credence Construction Ltd. hosted its annual fishing derby fundraiser for the Foundation.

The event held at the Theodore Dam saw 165 anglers hoping for a fishing bite, while at the same time helping raise $14,000.

The Credence Construction dollars will be used in partnership with Close Cuts to buy chemotherapy chairs for the Regional Hospital in Yorkton.
