A local developer who is creating a resort area near Gardiner Dam by Lake Diefenbaker is making waves in the business community, particularly after she was recently honored at the annual SABEX Business Excellence Awards in Saskatoon.

At the February 7 meeting of the Canora Gateway Lodge Auxiliary, members took time out to acknowledge the receipt of a handmade quilt donated by A Common Thread , a quilt group based in Canora.

The Andino Suns, a group that has been captivating audiences thought Canada with fiery instrumentation and inspirational live performances, will be performing in Canora on Thursday at the Canora Composite School.
