The Yorkton Public Library is open at 9 a.m. Monday-Friday. --- The 7th Annual Seedy Saturday will be held on March 11 from 12:30 – 4:00 p.m. at Dr. Brass School in Yorkton. Workshops by Cindy Patterson and Glen Tymiak at 1:30 and 2:30.

“The Canora seniors have done it again,” said Jean Zarazun of the St. Valentine’s Day social held at the Keen Age Centre on February 12.

“Am I Being Unfair to You?” That’s the question being asked by the World Day of Prayer committee of The Philippines and will be part of the service being held in the evening at the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canora (Friday).

The Canora Family Resource Centre has a schedule of several activities and programs that have been designed for parents and their children from newborns to 18 years.

A group that performs music that is heavily influenced by the Chilean Andes was in Canora on February 23 and members said they were determined to have some fun in the process.

The Family Resource Centre, which encourages families and their small children to spend time together in a fun interactive manner, sponsored its second community play date at the Sturgis Elementary School on February 26.

Families were encouraged during the month of February to spend quality time together in a program sponsored by the Family Resource Centre as a fun way for families to participate in an activity challenge contest.
