The Community Association Pancake breakfast at the beginning of June was well attended. Lots of memberships were purchased, which helps with carrying on with activities that we have at Good Spirit Acres.

Seniors from across the area gathered together for some fun and laughter as they challenged each other in numerous games held during the Preeceville Club 60 fun day on June 16.

Parents and grandparents gathered to celebrate the achievements of students in the three-year-old class and the four-year-old class at the Preeceville Legion Hall on June 18. “Today, I give you back your children,” said Lori Newton, teacher.

A community workshop that dealt with the results from a research project conducted by the Sunrise Health Region on mental health care of rural older adults was attended by over 100 individuals in Preeceville on June 24.

“Today I will do the things that others won’t, so tomorrow I can accomplish the things that others can’t,” was the slogan used by the Norquay School’s senior class of 2015 during its graduation ceremony held May 29.

It has become an annual event for the Rama Senior Citizens to host the Canada Day Celebration on July 1, which this year highlighted the 50th anniversary of the Canadian flag.
