Two rinks tie for top spot at the Norquay Seniors Bonspiel held February 20 to 23. Rinks attended from Sturgis, Canora, Swan River, Bowsman, Preeceville, Kamsack and Yorkton.

The Cote Atom Chiefs hockey team defeated the Canora Atom Red Cobras in overtime play during a playoff league game in Canora on February 17.

A woman who was born near Kamsack 109 years ago is celebrating her birthday today at her home at the Northridge Nursing Home in Ortonville, Minnesota, and quite probably Canada’s national anthem is being sung for her.
