The Kamsack Minor Ball Association, which had re-introduced the sport to the community last year, which was a very successful year, is preparing for its second season.

A world-wide collaborative effort to raise funds to be collectively used to provide grants for projects in Canada and throughout the world resulted in a successful World Day of Prayer service at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Kamsack.

With snow melting all around, leaving brown patches on what should have been a clean, crisp, cold snow-covered landscape, organizers of the Togo snowmobile derbies on February 19 were worried.

Seven students have graduated from a 10-week housing maintenance/essential skills program that was held at Keeseekoose First Nation.

A team of Russ Brunt and John Adamyk placed first in the Kamsack Seniors Centre whist competitions for the month of February. A team of Joyce MacLean and Joanna Zychkowski placed second.

Changes in the medical services committee and a donation for the nursing home gazebo project were among items to concern town council at its regular meeting on February 13.
