A special “fun hockey camp” for females who have never played hockey before will be held at Kamsack on November 7.

Representatives of 21 groups were among the persons to attend the Norquay Recreation Board’s annual general meeting on September 12.

Members of the Norquay Active Aging exercise group were involved in making a video for the Sunrise Health Region on August 31.

Although the junior football season at the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute has begun with a team of students from grades 7 to 9, students in grades 5 and 6 are also involved in the program because they will be forming a team in the spring with Grade

A former main street restaurant is being converted into a studio to accommodate dance instruction and a women’s fitness program.

Two teachers and one educational assistant new to the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute joined the staff at the school at the beginning of the 2016-17 term.

One person has been hired to join the teaching staff at the Victoria School in Kamsack. Heather Netzel is working with the Pre-Kindergarten students.

The Kamsack air cadet squadron, which will celebrate its 60 th anniversary in January, is eagerly seeking persons to fill the roles of officers, instructors and other volunteers.

People who enjoy singing, whether they are trained or whether they can read music, are welcome to join the Kamsack Community Choir.
