Canadians had the opportunity to acknowledge National Aboriginal Day on June 21 and at the TD Canada Trust branch in Kamsack, clients were able to sample bannock supplied by Anita Tourangeau.

At the annual pie-and-ice cream band concert on June 15, Darren Kitsch presented awards to members of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute beginner, junior and senior bands.

For his donation to the people of Ukraine, a Kamsack man has been personally thanked by the Ukrainian ambassador to Canada.

The community of Arran, which is to celebrate its centennial next month, has received best wishes from Arran, Scotland.

The 17 th Annual Charity Golf Classic, held at the Deer Park Golf Course in Yorkton on June 9, was a huge success with golfers and sponsors raising enough money to buy 12 pieces of medical equipment for eight facilities in the region.
