Access to physician services continues to improve for people all across Saskatchewan.

The 11th annual Dollars for Scholars Golf Classic, held June 24 at Deer Park Golf Course in Yorkton, raised an estimated $21,500 for the Parkland College scholarship fund.

Having put off writing her valedictory speech for a month and then writing it in “one stress-filled evening” is a perfect metaphor for her past four years in high school, said Samantha Klapatiuk.

Kamsack’s TD Trust banch had a prominent place at the Canora Junior Elementary School on June 27 when a ribbon was cut to announce the opening of a soup garden sponsored by businesses in the community.

More than $8,500 worth of scholarships were presented to the students during the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute Class of 2016 academic ceremonies on June 29. Larissa Puk was presented with the Ruth cooper Memorial Scholarship of $500.
