Sgt. Keanna Romaniuk was named the most proficient cadet of the Kamsack air cadet squadron on May 18 during the cadets’ annual awards banquet. Jim Paluck presented the Duck Mountain Ambulance award to Romaniuk.

The scene was gruesome enough to cause some concern among those who were unaware of the PARTY setup. It happened shortly after 9 a.m. on May 12 on Dixon Avenue near the Assiniboine Valley Health Centre and Kamsack Hospital.

The town’s 2016 paving program, the purchase of a mower and an off-leash dog park were among items to concern town council at its regular meeting on May 9.

A Kamsack automobile dealership’s customer appreciation event has resulted in $526 having been raised for the community’s SADD group.

A numbered company owned by the man who is the majority shareholder of the Fields stores purchased the Kamsack Shopping Plaza last month from Craig Tysowski of Kamsack.
