Science-crazy kids don’t have to worry about being bored this summer. The Royal Saskatchewan Museum (RSM) has coordinated an array of activities for active, curious, young people.

The final graduating class at the Fort Livingstone School in Pelly was bid farewell during a ceremony on June 26. The graduation exercises honouring the graduates took place in the school gymnasium at 7 p.m.

Among Kamsack area residents who followed the action at this year’s Calgary Stampede held July 3 to 12 are members of the Kamsack Indoor Rodeo committee who recognized several competitors from their Kamsack performances.

A former resident of Kamsack and the Pelly district has begun a business designed to help area residents make their travel arrangements.

Marilyn Lachambre has been appointed to the Kamsack Housing Authority Board of Directors. Other members of the board of directors are Marilyn Snyder, Florence Bielecki, Darlene Brown and Charles Thomas. Thomas is chairperson.

The SARCAN depot in Kamsack is having a raffle to raise money for the Sparty Park, the wheelchair accessible playground being built this summer at Victoria School.

That gang in pink one sees at the Trackside Garden each Tuesday morning, all volunteers who tend the garden, were disheartened last week when they discovered incidents of vandalism at the garden.
