The Government of Saskatchewan is working to build stronger families and communities through its continued support for KidsFirst programs across the province. For 2014-15, nine KidsFirst programs will receive $14.

Local companies make Top 100

Saskatchewan Business Magazine has unveiled its Top 100 Companies for 2014 and two Yorkton businesses have made the grade. Maple Farm Equipment and Yorkton Coop were respectively 39th and 67th on the list.

Charitable grants awarded

The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) is providing approximately $1.9 million to more than 900 organizations across the province as part of SLGA's charitable gaming grant program.

Card renewal

Renewal stickers for health cards are being mailed to Saskatchewan residents who currently have provincial health coverage. Provincial health cards expire on December 31, 2014.
