A 24-year-old Yorkton man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison for an October 2015 home invasion.

Two men accused of cocaine trafficking have been remanded in custody pending bail verification reports. Trevonn Morlese (23) and Weyane Nega (25) were arrested January 19 following the execution of a search warrant by RCMP on a Yorkton residence.

Brent Murdoch is the latest president of the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce. Murdoch said it was never a goal to become Chamber president, but when last year’s vice-president chose not to step up this year, he took the plunge.
