1910 - The Water Works Pumping Station on Broadway. The Town Council and other officials are inspecting the erection of a derrick for drilling in search for water. A hole was put down 1000 feet and was as dry at the bottom as it was at the top.

Clark Protz guilty of pot trafficking
A 37-year-old Yorkton man has been convicted of trafficking marijuana. In May 2012, acting on a tip obtained from the Saskatoon Police, Yorkton RCMP conducted a traffic stop near Theodore of a Jeep driven by Clark Protz.
