Sophia Pisiak presented a cheque for $5,000 to Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation. The donation is to go toward the building fund for the new regional hospital. "I've made donations to The Health Foundation a number of times; I think they do very good work and we need the new services they bring to the hospital. Both my father and my husband Ned spent time in the Yorkton hospital, and they received very good care. I think if we can, we should all do what we can to make things better. If we all make donations, they add up, and it can make a difference," said Mrs. Pisiak. I'll keep making donations as I can. I've also made provision that after I pass away my estate will make a final donation to The Health Foundation. I would like to support building a new hospital, I think that will be very important to the community and it will make a difference in a lot of lives," continued Mrs. Pisiak. "Mrs. Pisiak has been very generous with The Health Foundation, and we very much appreciate that we continue to earn her support and trust," said Ross Fisher. "We haven't started a formal fundraising campaign for a new hospital, but we all know it is coming, and I am very glad to see the growing support in the community to build a new hospital."
