The Western Financial Female YRHS Student of the Month for April 2014 is Lacey Senchuk.
Lacey is a Grade 10 student who participates in Cheerleading and Volleyball. She is also determined and shows a sense of responsibility in her academic courses such as Pre AP English. As a role model for other YRHS students, congratulations Lacey on being selected as our student of note for April!
The Western Financial Male YRHS Student of the Month for April 2014 is Brayden Miller.
Brayden is a Grade 10 student who expands his classroom experiences into such activities as Robotics and Encounters Canada. Brayden was noted by his teachers as someone who illustrates perseverance and takes on challenges with a goal oriented focus. Congratulations Brayden as being selected as our student for April!
The Western Financial Female YRHS Student of the Month for May 2014 is Shayna Kemp.
Shayna is a Grade 11 student who displays positive energy and a zestful enthusiasm around everything she takes on. Her schedule is busy with extra-curricular activities such as Cheerleading, and she devotes a great deal of time to the SRC and helping to make YRHS a good place to be. Congratulations Shayna on being the chosen YRHS May student.

Colby is a Grade 12 student who is leaving the land of orange to pursue a career in the trades. Colby has been noted by both teachers and peers as a polite, respectful, and responsible young man. He has a good work ethic and takes on his classroom tasks with focus and determination. Congratulations Colby on being selected as our May student role model, and best wishes for the future.

Dorothy is a Grade 12 student who is noted for her kindness and acceptance of others. Dorothy has participated in activities such as Band and Drama throughout her years at YRHS and tries hard to make the YRHS a positive place for others. Alex is a Grade 12 student who meets each day with a positive attitude and a determination to go places in life. Alex learned through his activities such as Drama and Wrestling to wear a happy face and to use brains and brawn to best your opponents.
