Three Yorkton residents have been arrested for drug trafficking as the result of an investigation by the Saskatchewan Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit dubbed F-Jackpot.
Crystal Ford, Kevin Thurston and Derek McDonald face a total of 13 charges related to cocaine and methamphetamine.
Also charged was James Lloyd of Regina, who also faces additional charges of oxycodone trafficking.
Ford was charged with trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in methamphetamine, posession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of cannabis under 30 grams and possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000.
At the time of her arrest on Nov. 4, Ford was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court on November 2 on a charge of uttering a forged document.
On Nov. 10 Judge Ross Green released Ford on $1,000 bail with statutory conditions as well as to live at an approved residence, observe a 24-hour curfew, wear an electronic monitoring device, abstain from alcohol and non-prescription drugs, have no cell phones and have no contact with co-accused Kevin Thurston.
McDonald had previously been released on $500 bail Nov. 6.
Thurston also got out of jail with $500 bail on Nov. 13.
Both Ford and McDonald were back in court Nov. 16 facing new charges. In addition to her trafficking charges, Ford now also faces one count of uttering threats, one count of assault with a weapon and one count of breach of a recognizance.
McDonald is charged with one count of common assault. On Monday, Judge Green ordered a new Bail Supervision report and scheduled McDonald for a new bail hearing November 19.
Ford had her bail hearing on the new charges Nov. 17 which was ongoing at presstime.
Her next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 23.
