Yorkton residents were out on the weekend for what might have been the final warm days of the fall. For many, it was a good opportunity to take a walk outside or to finish up the last of the yardwork.

Conceptual planning for new health facilities in Canora and Yorkton is progressing on schedule, reports the Sunrise Health Region.

Agriculture Minister Bob Bjornerud has proclaimed the week of October 9-15 as Veterinary Technician Week in Saskatchewan. "Veterinary technicians play an important role in the success of Saskatchewan's livestock sector," Bjornerud said.
