Tylosaur visiting

There's going to be one more prehistoric creature in town, as the Royal Saskatchewan Museum's (RSM) tylosaur, known as Omaciw, surfaces in Eastend on July 13.

Unemployment rate staying low

For the fourth consecutive month, Saskatchewan has the lowest unemployment rate in Canada. Saskatchewan's June unemployment rate of 4.9 per cent (seasonally adjusted) was well below the national average of 7.4 per cent.

Christian radio station CJJC-FM "The Rock" will massively expand its broadcast range this fall. On July 14, the CRTC approved an application for an upgrade to The Rock's broadcasting power from less than 50 watts to 50,000 watts.
