A new group made a presentation to Council Monday looking for Council’s support through a resolution. The Age Friendly group is new to Yorkton, but has been around globally for some time, explained co-project coordinator Twila Seeley.

STC fares rising

Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC) passenger fares will increase by an average of 4.5 per cent beginning March 2, 2015. The average fare increase per ticket will be $1.65 based on an average one way trip of 182 kilometres (113.4 miles).
