The Yorkton Municipal Airport hosted an event this weekend to provide visitors the opportunity to learn the history of their local airport, as well as a chance to see several vintage planes on display.

Adjusting CJ Houston lay-out

Yorkton Council continued the process Monday toward a subdivision on the former C.J. Houston school property. Council previously granted approval to a subdivision on the CJ Houston lands adjacent to Wellington Avenue and Darlington Street West.

The raw row of truck and tractor pulls drew large crowds to the Yorkton Exhibition grandstand for two nights of gears, grease, smoke and noise. It is the third year for the Maple Farm Equipment-sponsored event.
