U of S enrollment at an all time high

The U of S campus has more students this winter than ever before according to recent enrolment data. "We have 20,348 students enrolled in all degree and non-degree programs for winter term.

1800 students awarded scholarship

Advanced Education Minister Don Morgan announced today that 1,882 scholarships were awarded to Saskatchewan post-secondary students through the new Saskatchewan Innovation and Opportunity Scholarship program in 2011-12.

Deficit on City's 2012 operations

The City of Yorkton ended up in a deficit position on its 2012 operations. That was the news Yorkton Council was given at its regular meeting Monday by Lonnie Kaal Director of Finance with the City. The net deficit was $187,000.
