Senior programs being enhanced

Saskatchewan seniors with low incomes will soon see increases to the benefits they receive through two programs: the Personal Care Home Benefit and Seniors Income Plan. These increases come into effect on July 1, 2014.

ABE gets funding

The provincial government is providing $25 million in Adult Basic Education (ABE) funding for 2014-15, representing a 9.1 per cent increase in ABE funding over 2013-14 and supporting a total of 700 new training opportunities.
