Event to serve as fundraiser for department

A proposed amendment to Yorkton’s Zoning Bylaw regarding regulations to allow shipping containers has itself been amendment, which saw the document again tabled at the regular meeting of Yorkton Council Monday.

The spring edition of the 2018 PALS (Performing Arts and Leisure Society) Draft Horse Field Days was held in Rama and May 19 and 20.

At the regular meeting of the Kamsack Business Association (KBA) on May 17, members dealt with the perception of an HIV epidemic in Kamsack and the negative impact on the community, as well as how to reverse that perception.

The Preeceville Arena board has once again arranged for 70 acres of land west of Preeceville to be used as a fundraiser crop. The 70 acres was seeded to canola with the funds from the upcoming harvest going towards the Preeceville Arena.

Family, friends and classmates shared in the celebration of 18 Preeceville School graduates on May 18, when awards and scholarships were presented at the graduation exercises at the Preeceville Skating Arena.
