Council marks day

Yorkton Council unanimously proclaimed Horticulture Day in the city at their regular meeting Monday. The request for the proclamation came from Debbie Hayward who appeared before Council on behalf of the Yorkton and District Horticultural Society.

City details contract signings

The City of Yorkton is streamlining its policy for management to sign agreements.

MOU about to be signed

An oversight by the City has been cleared up through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Long service recognized

The names of two long term City of Yorkton employees will be put forward for Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) recognition. The SUMA Awards Banquet will be held in January-February of 2016 in Regina.
