Two persons new to the Victoria School staff in Kamsack began work at the beginning of the school term.

Regina – With Saskatchewan’s 2020 general election poised to take place on Monday, Oct. 26, these are the starting positions for each of the registered political parties. There are 61 seats in the Saskatchewan Legislature.

Five teachers who are new or returning to the full-time staff of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute were welcomed by students and staff of the school when classes opened for the 2020-21 term earlier this month.

Although much is still dependent on how the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, the Kamsack Players theatre group has decided to begin the process which would result in a production in mid-December.

This month, the people who have been meeting to play soccer on a recreational basis in Kamsack are celebrating their group’s 32 nd anniversary.

The Town of Preeceville, Town of Sturgis and Village of Endeavour will all be voting on new or returning mayor positions and all councillors in the upcoming election.

The Town of Preeceville council approved the minutes from its August meeting at the regular meeting held on September 16. The Waste Water Treatment Facility project was a signficant topic that came up for discussion.

The Preeceville School acknowledged one of its own teachers for her dedication in the coaching aspect to the sports organizations within the school.

SASKATOON – The College of Dentistry at the University of Saskatchewan (USask) has partnered with the Big River First Nation to launch a new dental clinic, providing service to a community with limited access to oral health-care.
