The Indian Head RCMP are investigating a hit and run collision that ocurred at about 10:00 am this morning in Qu'Appelle.
A large cube van delivery truck collided with a power pole just east of the tourist information booth causing the power pole to break and power lines to fall.
Nobody was injured as a result of this but the vehicle did not remain at the scene or report it to the police.
Residents of Quappelle and area lost power for many hours in order for repairs to be made.
The cube van did not have any specific markings on it, the storage area of the truck was white and the cab may have been green with a green front bumper.
It is suspected that this truck backed into the power pole and caused the damage to it.
