On Sept. 2, The Town of Bredenbury Council called its regularly scheduled meeting to order at 5:00 P.M., after a supper for the town staff and the council members.

After reviewing the minutes of the last meeting, as well as accepting the agenda, the council heard from the town foreman about the happenings of the town maintenance staff over the last month.

The town foreman also spoke about what needs to be looked at in the future for town staff.

Carrying on, the council discussed ordering clothing with the town logo on it. Those interested can contact the town for more information, or check the Town of Bredenbury Facebook page. The town will try and have an order ready to send in prior to Christmas.

The town administrator gave her report to the council. It was reported that on September 15, the nomination will open for municipal elections which will be held on November 9th.

She spoke about the weeping tile which has been put in at the town hall as renovations continue. Concrete sidewalk replacements were discussed.

Also, there will be a new compressor installed in the rink.

The council talked about when to open the rink and it was decided to start it up the first week of October.

Council then reviewed the SGI report on the town-owned buildings and discussed in detail what needs to be done to adhere to SGI’s requests.

The council finished by moving in-camera to discuss staff and strategic planning.
