Saskatoon woman dies in collision near Warman

A 30-year-old female from the Saskatoon area was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene.

WARMAN — A 30-year-old female from the Saskatoon area was killed in a collision Wednesday west of the city.

RCMP say that on Nov. 23, at approximately 8:40 a.m., Warman RCMP received a report of a collision at the intersection of Valley Road and Range Road 3061.

Initial investigation determined an SUV and a van collided. The driver and sole occupant of the SUV, a 30-year-old female from the Saskatoon area, was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene. Her family has been notified.

The adult male driver and sole occupant of the van was transported to hospital with injuries described as serious.

The area around the intersection was closed during initial investigation but re-opened around 4 p.m. Road conditions were poor in the area at the time of the collision. Warman RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
