Two more charged for 2017 murder in Saskatoon

A total of three people have now been charged.

On Nov. 4, 2017 at around 6:15 a.m. Tyler Owen Morin, then 30, was shot in a residence in the 200-block Avenue V South. He died as a result of his injuries on Nov. 11, 2017.

SASKATOON — Two more people have been arrested in connection with the 2017 homicide of Tyler Owen Morin in Saskatoon. 

A 23-year-old man has been arrested by Wadena RCMP and a 26-year-old man was taken into custody by Regina Police Service. The arrests were made on May 5. Both are facing charges of first-degree murder. 

The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section had already charged a 22-year-old man this week with first-degree murder in connection to the 2017 homicide. A 22-year-old man who was already in custody due to an unrelated matter was arrested Tuesday in Prince Albert.

On Nov. 4, 2017 at around 6:15 a.m. Tyler Owen Morin, then 30, was shot in a residence in the 200-block Avenue V South. He died as a result of his injuries on Nov. 11, 2017. The 2017 murder was Saskatoon's fifth homicide of the year.
