The 75th Anniversary of D-Day, with the Allies taking Juno Beach, was commemorated by a march to the cemetary, with the ashes of poppies spread on the graves of the veterans at the cemetery.

The Canora Economic Development Commission (CEDC) held a second meeting at the Town of Canora office on May 29.
