The Canora Hospital auxiliary hosted its spring tea on May 12 at the Canora Hospital dining room. Although the attendance was down from previous years all the support was greatly appreciated, said Lorie Wasyliw, auxiliary president.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on May 13 the Kamsack Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on First Street within the town of Kamsack. Upon arrival firefighters found a two-story home fully engulfed in flames.
