The Canora/Strugis RCMP members are investigating an incident that took place at the Chechow Church in Preeceville on November 22 and November 24. The church bells located inside the bell house were taken.

The Family Resource centre hosted a sponsorship tea that acknowledged its sponsors from the past year on January 24. Miles Russell, chairperson for the Family Resource Centre welcomed everyone and gave an overview of the centre and its programs.

The Water Park at the Gallagher Centre in Yorkton has a shiny new name. Friday, the City of Yorkton, in partnership with Access Communications Co-operative, announced the facility will now be known as the Access Communications Water Park.

Rod Taylor, leader of the federal Christian Heritage Party (CHP) of Canada will be in Yorkton Monday for a meet and greet. The event will be held at Yorkton Crossing Retirement Community at 1:30 p.m.
