The village of Endeavour welcomed everyone to help them celebrate Canada 150 on September 3. The community rallied together to host various fun games for children that included a sack race, egg relay, three-legged race, potato race and hop scotch.

On September 3 a bear was spotted on the west side of Canora near the chicken barns, said Cst. Taunya Kondratoff, of the Canora RCMP. The bear made its way into Canora, and the RCMP were made aware of the situation at around 6 p.m., said Kondratoff.
