A group of seniors were all smiles March 18 when they received certificates at the conclusion of a computer training course delivered at Parkland College in Yorkton, according to a release from the College.

Canora rink wins Kamsack’s Club 55 bonspiel

The Bob Roll rink of Canora topped Kamsack’s Club 55 bonspiel which concluded with a banquet on March 23. A total of 16 rinks were entered in the bonspiel which was held March 21 to 23, said Lloyd Thomas, president of Club 55.

Preeceville midgets crowned Major Hockey League B-side champions

It came down to the third and deciding game but the Preeceville Midget Pats, on which three players are from Canora, won the Major Hockey League B-side banner in overtime before a packed home-town crowd on March 20.
