The Preeceville Arena board has once again arranged for 70 acres of land west of Preeceville to be used as a fundraiser crop. The 70 acres was seeded to canola with the funds from the upcoming harvest going towards the Preeceville Arena.

Fire razed two-story home, damaged adjacent home

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on May 13 the Kamsack Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire on First Street within the town of Kamsack. Upon arrival firefighters found a two-story home fully engulfed in flames.
